How to Disinfect and Clean your Apple Products

Now that the COVID-19 has made its presence, and doesn’t seem to leave anyway soon, it makes more sense to sanitize the devices we carry in our hands and pockets all the time, take to the bathroom with us, and them keep extremely tight, tidily close, to the body parts near our mouths. To begin with, here are some general guidelines that extend to all products. According to Apple guideline and safety measures:

1. Just use a piece of smooth, lint-free fabric. Abrasive cloths, blankets, paper towels, or similar objects should be avoided.
2. Excessive wiping can result in injury.
3. Unplug any external power sources, computers, and cables.
4. Unless otherwise specified for particular goods, hold liquids away from the product.
5. Don’t get moisture into any openings;
6. Don’t use aerosol sprays, bleaches, or abrasives;
7. Don’t spray cleaners directly onto the item.
8. Always power down your iPad, iPhone and Mac.
9. Never use compressed air or cleaning products

Remember, if liquid gets inside your Apple product, obtain assistance as soon as possible from an Apple Approved Service Provider or Apple Retail Store. Apple’s product warranties and AppleCare Protection Plans do not cover liquid harm. So, be careful and avoid liquid damage, also keep in mind that Apple is good at detecting liquid damage. It is preferred to give disinfectant wipes a gentle wring to remove excess moisture.
